In response to an 'Open Studio' event, the cell-like Unit 127 was stripped of any sign of work apart from the ubiquitous artist's chair, table, and cup.

Visitors were invited to view the workspace from the open door. Despite the bleak prospect, a small vapor of an idea emerges from the empty cup, takes flight, circles, and is frozen by the click of the studio's boiling kettle.

The animation is programmed to select random pages from the Artist 'Notebook Archive,' weaving them into a self-organising twisting mass.
