A small machine was devised to display these paper constructions.
As the motor gathers speed, the interconnected drive belts spin the wonky perspex stands, rotating the hats in opposing directions. At maximum speed, their geometry blurs, becoming a small floating village of paper huts.
The prototype machine is programmed to rotate intermittently displaying the collection of paper hats cut from the 'Roll'.
