Jack

 

Jack is a series of animated works based on the proverb

‘all work and no play makes jack a dull boy’

The text has been woven into an illegible stream, sometimes cascading, some times a rippling vibration field.

The animations were set up to be projected on to translucent sheets of paper, the text appearing somewhere between the paper surface and the supporting wall.
