The work often begins with a simple situation, a set of rules or an invitation. Making, repetition, chance and encounter can all become part of what the work is.

I am interested in what happens when things are allowed to shift, circulate and take on new forms. A work might be an object, an image, a game, an animation or a set of instructions, and may continue beyond its first appearance.

There is rarely a fixed endpoint. The work can return, change and accumulate traces through the people, places and circumstances it encounters.

Each work keeps an open edge—free to recur, return and reconfigure.
